Waters Rising, Mark's début CD

Mark’s first CD, Waters Rising, was released! Essentially solo acoustic guitar, Mark was joined on some tracks by Cameron Edgar and percussionist Russell Jalland, and on others by Tony Taffinder.

We cannot but agree with the review of Waters Rising in the Daily Telegraph — Mark’s guitar playing certainly is “... confident and engrossing” and the finger-picking “fantastic”!

Waters Rising was recorded, mixed and mastered by Alistair Russell at Glade Recordings.

Mawby and Taffinder in Lincoln

On 9 September 2006 Mark Mawby and Tony Taffinder played at the Drill Hall café bar in Lincoln as part of the lunchtime entertainment during the highly successful Lincoln BIG Morris Festival.

They went down a storm. To quote one member of the audience “... [Taffinder and Mawby] blew me away”.
