Wildfolk Ceilidh Band

The Wildfolk Ceilidh Band was in action over the Christmas period, despite key musicians being otherwise committed. No problem — Mark was delighted to recruit good friends Ron Darnbrough (caller extra-ordinaire, and bodran) and Gina le Faux (one of England’s finest fiddle players).

Congratulations to our good friends Janet Flynn and Steve Hopewell, from Pennine Camphill Community, who were married at Wakefield Registry Office on 27 December 2007. The music at the celebration was provided by Mark Mawby, who played pieces by Sylvius Leopold Weiss and Augustin Barrios (La Catédral), as well as some of his own compositions and a Gaelic Air.
